AI Audit Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

Short version: AI Audit does not have any servers. Your questions and AI answers never leave your browser. We only read your Google account email locally to tie your Pro license to your account.

1. Who we are

AI Audit (“we”, “us”, “the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that lets you collect, compare and merge answers from AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. The Extension is operated by Nikunj Gajera. You can reach us at our contact page.

2. Data we process — and where it stays

a) Your content (questions & AI answers)

Everything you type and every answer you capture is stored only in your browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own computer. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. We have no servers and never receive this content.

b) Your Google account email

If you use the Pro features, the Extension reads the email address of the Google account you are signed into in Chrome (via the identity permission). This email is used only to verify that your Pro license key was issued for your account. The check runs locally on your device using offline cryptographic verification — your email is not sent to any server.

c) Plan & usage state

We store small flags locally (for example: trial start date, how many free rounds you used today, your activated license key, and your theme choice). This stays on your device.

3. What we do NOT do

4. Permissions we request and why

None of these permissions send your data anywhere — they operate entirely on your device.

5. Payments

Pro purchases are processed by our payment provider, Razorpay. We never see or store your card or banking details. Payment information is handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy.

6. Children

AI Audit is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control. You can clear it any time by removing the Extension or clearing its storage from Chrome.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected in the Extension or on this page.
